Gunditjmara Country
The Hamilton and Alexandra College have engaged Draper Noxon for the master plan, design, and delivery of the school’s proposed new Mirranatwa Outdoor Learning Facility in the Grampians region of western Victoria.
The 45 hectare bushland site has stunning views over the rural plains towards the Serra and Victoria Ranges and will include a main communal building with amenities, separate accommodation cabins, a gear store, and bush camping facilities, and educational experiences.
The proposed facility will complement and extend the outdoor learning and education offerings of the College and further the school’s connection to the local region. Mirranatwa will provide the school community with an outdoor education campus that complements student life through their time at the College from Years P-12 and will be a unique concept in outdoor education, offering a distinct point of difference for The Hamilton and Alexandra College.
