Grampians Peaks Trail
Stage 2
2018-2022
Grampians – Victoria
The Grampians National Park (Gariwerd) extends over the Traditional Lands of the Jadawadjali and Djab Wurrung peoples. The Traditional Owners of Gariwerd are represented by the Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation, Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation, and Barengi Gadjin Land Council Aboriginal Corporation. We Acknowldge the Traditional Owners of the land upon which the Grampians Peaks Trail stands, and pay our respect to their Elders past and present.
The Grampians Peaks Trail is a world-class hiking experience through the Grampians National Park (Gariwerd). Starting at Mt Zero in the north and heading south, the trail takes adventure seekers through a variety of terrain passing over the summit of Gar (Mt Difficult), continuing through Halls Gap with hiking highlights including Redman Bluff, Mount William, Major Mitchell Plateau, Signal Peak, Mt Abrupt, Mt Sturgeon (and more!) before reaching Dunkeld in the south.
Together with our partner practice Noxon Giffen we were thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with Parks Victoria, McGregor Coxall and OPS Engineers on 10 unique hike-in camp sites for this spectacular 160km hiking experience.
